Sauna Soho Cluj is a men-only gay sauna on Strada Victor Babes, in the middle of the city. It opened as the younger sister of the Soho sauna in Bucharest, and calls itself the first LGBT sauna in the western half of Romania.
The building runs to around 800 square metres over three floors, with more than a dozen separate areas. There is a wet sauna and a dry sauna, a jacuzzi, a salt room and a quiet room, alongside private relaxation cabins, a massage room and a small gym. A bar area serves cocktails and beer.
The house rules are plain. You pay at reception and are given a locker key, slippers and a towel. Personal clothing is not allowed past the changing room, only the slippers and towel you were handed, and washing before you use the shared areas is required.
