Thermas 205 is the biggest gay sauna in Porto, on Rua Guedes de Azevedo in the city centre. The building number is 203 but the door you want is 205, which is where the name comes from and which catches people out.
Inside there is a Finnish sauna, a steam room, a whirlpool and showers, along with private cabins, a video room, a lounge and a darkroom. Towels and flip-flops are handed over at reception. The layout runs across more than one floor and the staff will walk you through it if you ask.
The crowd is wide in age and almost entirely gay men, with more visitors passing through than the other sauna in town. It is the busier of the two, particularly at weekends.
