Sauna Camões is a gay sauna on Rua do Bonjardim, a short walk up from the Bolhão market. It is the smaller and quieter of the two saunas in Porto, and it has been running for over twenty years, for part of that time under a different name.
Inside there is a dry sauna, showers, and private cabins in two sizes. The fittings have been renewed and the place is kept clean, which is the first thing its regulars mention. It works as a daytime and early evening venue rather than a late-night one, which is the clearest difference from the larger sauna in the centre.
The crowd is mostly local and older than the bar scene.
