Invictus is a gay bar on Rua da Conceição, in the shopping arcade under the WOT hotel and a short walk from the Galerias de Paris nightlife strip. It has an outdoor terrace, which is rare for a gay bar in Porto and makes it a natural place to start an evening.
Live drag is the reason most people come. The bar has a resident cast that performs several nights a week, with guests appearing on top of them. The room is small and fills up fast when there is a show on, so the terrace tends to take the overflow.
The crowd is a mix of locals and visitors, and the bar describes itself plainly as an LGBTQIA+ space with live drag. It has been running for about ten years.
