1906 Club is a private members' club for gay men, running in Porto since 2015 as a non-profit. It has no shopfront and publishes no address: the location of each event goes out to the people who have booked for it.
The programme is built around monthly main events, shorter midweek gatherings and occasional special nights on a theme, among them bears, underwear, fetish and cinema evenings. Condoms and lubricant are provided and refreshments are included at the main events.
Visitors and tourists can attend, with members given priority. Membership follows from attending three main events without cancelling. Booking ahead is the only way in, so this is one to arrange before you travel rather than to stumble across.
