POSH is a gay dance club on Rua de Sao Bento, a short walk downhill from the parliament building and away from the Principe Real cluster.
Resident DJs play pop, funk and house, and drag performances are part of the regular programme. The dance floor is generous for the size of the room and the sound system is the club's main selling point.
The crowd is mostly gay men with a mixed queer element, and it draws locals as well as visitors.
