Villa 3 Caparica is a gay men's hotel in Charneca de Caparica, on the Setúbal peninsula between Lisbon and the beaches at Costa da Caparica. It calls itself a gay male hotel, stands on 2700 square metres of ground and has 13 rooms, each with its own bathroom and one of them built for guests with restricted mobility. It is registered as a three star hotel.
The garden is the centre of the place. A large heated pool with loungers around it, a big jacuzzi, a sauna and a steam room, and those areas are clothing optional. Indoors there is a gym, a bar and lounges, and massages can be booked. Breakfast is served inside or on the terrace.
The house is set up for gay men over 25, and anyone over 18 who belongs to or supports the LGBT community is welcome. A free shuttle runs into Lisbon in the evening when a seat is free. The hotel throws its own parties in the busier part of the year, and it has hosted the election of Mr Bear Europe.
