About

Równe Miejsce is the LGBT+ community centre in Wrocław, run since 2018 by the Kultura Równości association. The association calls it the first LGBT+ centre opened in Poland and the longest running. It is 40 square metres at Kniaziewicza 28/2 in Przedmieście Oławskie, through a gateway shared with the Polish Pensioners' Association, which the centre also shares the premises with.

You do not need a reason to go in. There is coffee, a balcony, and the Biblioteka LGBT+ Wrocław, which keeps current and back issues of the Polish queer magazine Replika. Regular groups meet there: board game evenings, a queer book club, Transfera for trans and non-binary people and their families, and LES Go for women and non-binary people who are attracted to women.

The space also hosts free psychological and legal support, author events and debates. Kultura Równości runs the Wrocław Equality March and the WroPRIDE festival from here. Since 2025 the centre is part-funded by the city of Wrocław.

It is a non-commercial space, and it is available to other non-profit groups who want to hold something in it.
