Cactus Club

Cactus is Wrocław's cruise club and, since HAH closed, the only dedicated gay nightclub left in the city. It is men-only, and the club says so plainly on every channel it runs. The address is Zelwerowicza 18a in Szczepin, just west of the old town, with the entrance through the courtyard rather than off the street.

The space runs to somewhere between 450 and 500 square metres over one floor. There is a bar with seating, a dance floor, a smoking area, a small cinema room and several darkrooms. Themed nights are the club's format: naked and underwear parties, a colour-coded night where wristbands mark top, vers and bottom, karaoke in the bar room, and DJ sets that mix latino, current pop and club tracks with eighties, nineties and noughties hits.

House rules in the dark zones are posted and enforced: ask before touching, no drinks or phones, and no photography of anyone without their consent anywhere in the club. Security is on site. There is no strict dress code.

Cactus has been a partner of the Bears of Poland association since 2023.
