About

QueerMuzeum is Poland's first LGBTQ+ museum, on Marszałkowska in the centre of Warsaw. It opened in December 2024 and is the first museum of its kind in eastern Europe.

Its permanent exhibition traces more than 400 years of non-heteronormative history in Poland, covering persecution, community and pride. The museum grew out of the archive of Lambda Warszawa, the country's largest LGBTQ+ organisation, and also publishes a journal, QueerStoria.

Admission is free for individual visitors, and the museum runs events and temporary exhibitions alongside the permanent display.
