Lokum is the bar of Grupa Stonewall, the Poznań association behind the city's Pride, and it calls itself the most rainbow point on the map of Poznań. It moved to Fredry 7 in the centre and works as a cafe by day and a bar by night, with a garden.
Breakfast and lunch, then drinks, and a programme that runs from queer parties and drag nights to ballroom competitions, bingo, karaoke, a book club and film screenings. Because it belongs to an association rather than an operator, the events lean political as often as they lean party.
In a country where queer venues are thin on the ground, this is the one address in Poznań that is openly and unambiguously what it says it is.
