The eighth Marsz Równości walks through the centre of Opole. It is organised by Stowarzyszenie Tęczowe Opole, an association of people from the Opole region working for the LGBTQIA+ community and its allies, which runs its own community centre on ulica Damrota.
The 2026 edition carries the motto Róbmy miłość, a nie wojnę, make love not war. The march is a public demonstration, so anyone who wants to walk with it can simply turn up.
A run of smaller events leads into it: a queer writing workshop and a knitting and bracelet session at the municipal library, banner painting and a film screening at Kino Meduza, and a speed friending afternoon at the Niebieski Kot cat café.
Opole sits in south western Poland, between Wrocław and Katowice.
