Ganimedes is a gay club in the centre of Łódź. It has run under that name since 1999, which makes it one of the longest-lived queer venues in Poland.
Karaoke is what the club is known for, hosted by a DJ, and the club advertises free entry. There is a bar and a dancefloor. The address is on Aleja Piłsudskiego, a few minutes from Piotrkowska, the street most of the city's nightlife sits on.
The club spent years at Piotrkowska 140 inside the OFF Piotrkowska complex before moving to its current address, and older guides still print the old one. A gay sauna ran under the same name on Sienkiewicza until it closed, so the club is now the only Ganimedes in the city.
