Ciemnia is a cruising club in Kleparz, just north of the Old Town, and the layout says what it is for: bars, a run of corridors and darkrooms. It is aimed mainly at men, though the club's own Instagram adds that it is hetero friendly.
The music leans hard. Techno, hard techno, industrial and schranz are what its own event posts list. Themed nights come round on a cycle, among them underwear and topless parties, naked parties, and evenings built around sports and uniform fetishes.
In Kraków it functions as the late address. It fills up mainly once the other clubs have shut, which has made it the city's standing after-party venue. The club moved here from Krowoderska 31 and a good number of directories still carry that old address.
