Blue Sauna Gay is a men-only sauna club in Piotrowice-Ochojec, a residential district in the south of Katowice rather than in the city centre. It calls itself a private club.
Inside there is a dry sauna, a steam sauna and a jacuzzi, along with private cabins, a darkroom and a room with a screen. A bar serves the lounge area. What separates it from most city saunas is the outdoor half: a pool, a garden and sun terraces, so a visit in warm weather is a different proposition from one in winter.
The crowd is gay and bisexual men. Women and couples are admitted on selected dates and for particular events. The venue runs a steady programme of themed nights.
It also goes by the name Sauna Tropicana, so both names point to the same address.
