The Marsz Równości in Katowice goes through the middle of the city, put on by the Tęczówka association together with Śląska Manifa.
Upper Silesia is a conurbation rather than a single city, so the march draws people from the whole agglomeration and not from Katowice alone.
A Miasteczko Równości stands beside it, an equality town of stalls and stages where campaigns, NGOs and informal groups set up for the day.
