Cafe de Wijn stands at Stadhuisstraat 17, immediately next to Cafe Peanuts. It calls itself the cosiest little cafe in Tilburg, and the street it stands in is one of the narrowest in the centre, which is part of the appeal.
It is a drinking cafe rather than a club. The room is small enough that you end up talking across the bar, there is a terrace when the weather allows, and the crowd is mixed. Together with its neighbour it forms the queer corner of the city centre, and the two are usually treated as one stop rather than two.
