Maze on Herengracht is a sex shop and cruising cinema in one, a few minutes from the centre of The Hague. The venue calls itself a shop and an erotic maze, and the layout is the draw: cinema rooms with comfortable seating and a warren of corridors to walk.
The programming is mixed rather than gay only. The rooms show gay, straight, bi, lesbian and trans films, so the crowd is mixed too, which is worth knowing before you go. There are lockers, showers and toilets, and a drinks machine.
Entry is over 18 with ID. The queer guide of The Hague lists it among the city's adult venues, and it is the only cruising cinema left in the centre. The same operator runs branches in Groningen, Enschede, Zwolle and Hilversum.
