The Boss is the cruise bar of The Hague, on Rijswijkseweg south of the centre, and has been going since around 1992. It describes itself as a cross between a neighbourhood pub and a sex club, for gay and bisexual men over 18.
There is a programme almost every day rather than one big weekend night: naked parties, fetish and leather nights, underwear evenings, sportswear meetings, golden shower and fisting parties, and mixed nights open to women and trans guests. The events page lists them months ahead.
The house rules are short and enforced. Phones go behind the bar or into the cloakroom, hard drugs mean immediate expulsion, group play is kept to the parties meant for it, showers are there and you are expected to leave things clean. No means no is written down as plainly as that.
