Café 't Achterom is a gay bar on a narrow lane behind the shopping streets in the middle of The Hague, running since 2013. It describes itself as the straight-friendly LGBT bar, and the room is small enough that the description gets tested every night.
The music is loud and the evenings are themed, among them the Purple Music Party and regular gay disco nights. The bar also spills into 27 Club a few doors along at Achterom 8 when it needs a dance floor.
