The regional branch of COC, the Dutch LGBTI+ association, covering Nijmegen and ten more municipalities in the Rijk van Nijmegen, the Betuwe and the Land van Maas en Waal. It works out of the Roze Huis on Sint Anthoniusplaats and runs entirely on volunteers.
Fourteen working groups sit under it. Several are meeting cafes for people the wider scene tends to leave out: Cafe Dapper for LGBTI+ people with a mild intellectual disability, Cafe Labelloos for people who also live with psychiatric vulnerability, a bi cafe, a group for autistic queer people, an asexual and aromantic group, a non-binary group, and separate salons for women and for men. Volunteers also give more than a hundred talks a year in schools.
For visitors the practical output is the Regenboogzorgkaart, a map of health and care providers in the region that have been checked for how they treat LGBTI+ patients, and KissKiss, the association's own large party. There is a page for queer refugees too.
