About this Event
Pride Parkstad is the Pride of the Parkstad region in southern Limburg. It is not tied to a single town: Queer Parkstad spreads the programme across Brunssum and Heerlen and runs it as a week rather than one parade day.
The week mixes talks and film with music and art. This edition carries an evening on discrimination, a lecture on bisexuality, a programme called We The People and an installation called The Growing Wall of Love, alongside a pre-party and an underground music night.
It closes with the Pride Walk through Brunssum, which gathers on the Kerkstraat at the crossing with the Koutenveld, and a show in Heerlen afterwards.
