RoB Amsterdam

RoB has been making leather in Amsterdam since 1975, which makes it one of the oldest leather fetish workshops in Europe and older than most of the bars it supplies. It started on the Weteringschans and is now on the Warmoesstraat, among the leather bars.

The shop is worth going into even if you are not buying. It has an open workshop, so the leather and rubber work happens where customers can watch it, which is not how the rest of the trade operates. Stock runs to leather trousers, chaps, jackets, harnesses and hoods, rubber, bondage gear, impact toys, lubricants and hygiene products.

Dirty Dicks and Eagle Amsterdam are a few doors along the same street. There is a second shop in Berlin.
