Pink Point is Amsterdam's official LGBTQ+ information kiosk, a small pavilion standing on the Westermarkt beside the Homomonument. It has been there since the 1998 Gay Games, which is longer than most of the bars it hands out directions to.
It is half information desk and half shop. Staff are there every day of the week to answer questions about the city, and the kiosk stocks maps, club night listings, leaflets explaining the Homomonument in several languages, and the practical local advice that no website quite replaces. The retail side runs to pride flags, community and gender symbols, parade supplies, accessories and gifts.
It is the obvious first stop for anyone arriving in Amsterdam and wanting to know what is actually on this week.
