Mister B started on the Warmoesstraat in 1994 and did something that had not been done before: it put fetish gear behind large open shop windows, in full view of the street, instead of hiding it behind a curtain. That decision is most of why the brand matters.
The shop sells leather and rubber clothing, harnesses, masks, BDSM equipment, toys, lubricants and the rest of it, much of it under its own label. It opened in Berlin in 2000, Antwerp in 2014, and now supplies concept store partners across Europe.
The Amsterdam flagship moved to the Prinsengracht in 2018, so it is now on a canal rather than in the red light district. RoB and Black Body, the other two fetish shops in this guide, are a short walk away.
