The ITC is a canal house hotel at the Amstel end of the Prinsengracht, and it has been a gay-popular address in Amsterdam for a long time. The location is quieter than the Kerkstraat, on the water and away from the noise of the squares.
It is an eighteenth century canal house, which means the rooms vary and the staircases are steep. The Utrechtsestraat bars are a few minutes on foot and the Reguliersdwarsstraat about ten.
