Leather and Fetish Pride Netherlands is Amsterdam's autumn fetish week, and this edition marks thirty years of it. It runs as a collaboration between the city's fetish venues rather than from a single site, so the programme moves around town over five days.
The fixed points are the two title contests and the two big parties. Mister Leather Netherlands is elected at Akhnaton on the Nieuwezijds Kolk, Mister Rubber Europe at IJland across the water, and Meltdown and Invasion carry the late nights.
Invasion runs in Amsterdam North, and the organisers put on free shuttle buses from the back of Centraal Station across the main nights, which is worth knowing before working out how to get home.
