Exit Cafe

Exit Cafe is a late gay bar in the middle of the Reguliersdwarsstraat, in the same building as Club NYX. It calls itself the nicest gay night bar in Amsterdam and works across the whole evening, from a quiet drink early on to a full dance floor later.

There are DJs and a dance floor, so it sits somewhere between a cafe and a club. The bar is cards only. Its house character Lustige Lola turns up on the floor from time to time.

The crowd is mixed, from people out alone to groups, and the staff are part of the draw. The street outside is pedestrianised and lined with the other bars of the strip.
