Bar Buka is a lesbian and queer bar in De Pijp in Amsterdam, on Albert Cuypstraat, with the motto where girls meet. It calls itself one of the few dedicated lesbian and queer bars in the city, a safe and empowering space for women and the LGBTIQ+ community.
There are regular karaoke nights, Pride events, DJ nights and themed parties, and a rotating exhibition of work by women and queer artists. The bar is open from Thursday to Sunday evenings, with some Sundays only on selected dates.
