Bar BLEND

Bar BLEND is a gay bar on the Reguliersdwarsstraat, the street that has been Amsterdam's best known gay nightlife strip since 1980. It is one of three venues on the same block under the same management, together with Bar BLEND XL a few doors along at number 44 and Cafe Montmartre XL at number 48.

It works as a cafe rather than a club. There is a pavement terrace, which the whole street shares and which is where most of the evening happens in summer, and a bar inside with music and cocktails. The crowd mixes locals with visitors, and the street is pedestrianised, so people drift between the bars on foot.

Reguliersdwarsstraat sits a couple of minutes from Rembrandtplein and Muntplein. Nearly everything else on this stretch, from Taboo to Soho to Club NYX, is within a hundred metres.
