Indulgence Divine is a gay-owned self-catering house for two, set in a restored 16th-century townhouse in the Collachio, the old quarter of Vittoriosa (Birgu), one of Malta's Three Cities on the Grand Harbour. The house sleeps two adults in a duplex layout with vaulted ceilings, a lounge, a kitchen and dining area, and a private roof terrace with sunbeds looking over the rooftops of the old town.
The building has been refurbished with reclaimed materials and hand-chosen furnishings, including a canopied double bed and an en-suite bathroom, and runs on solar power with natural ventilation and rainwater reuse. Guests are within a couple of minutes' walk of the Inquisitor's Palace, the Maritime Museum and the Birgu Marina, and a short ferry ride from Valletta across the Grand Harbour.
The house is owned and run by a gay couple, who describe welcoming LGBTQ+ guests without having to explain or justify themselves as part of what makes a stay here feel right. Airport pickup, free WiFi and air conditioning are included, and bookings are self-catering rather than serviced, with a housekeeper looking after the property between stays.
