Luxembourg Pride is the Pride of the Grand Duchy, held every year since 1996 and run by volunteers from the local LGBTIQA+ community. In 2027 the Pride Week closes with a two-day street fest in Esch-sur-Alzette, the country's second city, in the south near the French border.
The week before the street fest is a string of separate events. Recent editions had a commemoration ceremony, a queer film night, a storytelling evening, the Equality March and a closing party. The street fest is the open-air part, with a stage, stalls and a crowd standing in front of it.
The organisers call it a non-commercial series of events and the high point of queer life in and around Luxembourg.
