Alle Guglie B&B is a one-room bed and breakfast in Cannaregio, in the host's own flat on the top floor of a sixteenth-century building. The railway station is about five minutes away on foot, the old Jewish Ghetto is just behind it, and St Mark's Square is roughly fifteen minutes' walk.
The guest room is large and bright, with its own bathroom beside it, air conditioning and a private terrace. The flat is furnished with antiques and has Venetian terrazzo floors; the room has a carved wooden wardrobe, framed prints and an embroidered hanging above the bed. The terrace is small and paved, crowded with potted plants, with a table and two chairs and a view over the rooftops.
Breakfast is continental, served on the terrace in the warmer months and in the kitchen in winter. The host meets guests at the nearest waterbus stop.
