Dedo Bar is a music bar on Via Cesare Battisti, out in the eastern part of the modern town rather than in the borgo antico. It opened in 2010 and calls itself a musical bar concept, which in practice means cocktails at the counter, a DJ in the corner and a programme that runs from techno and house through to jazz. Acoustic sets and small live shows happen here as well.
The bar puts a rainbow beside its own line about being a house for everyone, and it tags its own posts with pride. The crowd is mixed rather than exclusively gay, and it reads as a music bar that is comfortable with everybody in it.
There is seating outside on the street. The regular DJ nights are free to get into. It is a bus or taxi ride from the old town, so plan the way back.
