Gender Klub is a private club for trans people and the people who come to meet them, open since 1998 near San Giovanni, a short walk from the metro stop of lines A and C. It calls itself the best known transgender club privé in Italy, and its own tagline is "no gender": the crowd is trans women, gay and bisexual men, straight men and couples, all in one room.
It is a late night place with a small dance floor, a pole, red curtains and coloured lights, and shows and live performances on some nights. It is a night club and runs into the small hours.
