BeQueer is the LGBTQIA+ club night run by Omphalos, Perugia's LGBTI+ association, and it has been going since 2007. The night raises money for the association, and much of the staff are volunteers. It calls itself the big LGBTQIA+ night of central Italy.
It takes place at Gradisca Club, a large disco on Strada di Montalcino east of the city, a drive or a taxi ride from the historic centre. The nights are built around drag queens, dancers and DJs, with shows, themed parties and ball-style performances. Umbria Pride held its official party here in 2026.
Entry is for holders of an Omphalos membership card. You can sign up online beforehand and collect the card at the door.
BeQueer describes itself as a safer space for queer people and for anyone who lives outside the norm. The house rule is short: respect the people around you and leave violence and discrimination outside.
