Palermo's lesbian pub, going since 1998, on Via Squarcialupo near the Vucciria. The sign over the door says Laguna Blu and nobody in the city calls it that; it has been Caterina Pub for a generation, after the woman who ran it.
It is a plain, informal room: aperitivi, panini, drinks, music, birthdays and games. The crowd is mostly lesbian with gay men in the mix. It is the address Palermo names when somebody asks where the women go.
Its long-time owner died in early 2024 and the pub carried on under the same name.
