Flexo is the main gay nightclub in Padua, on the same short street as the city's sauna and its cruising club. By its own account it has been running since the mid-1990s and moved to the Via Turazza address in the early 2000s.
The layout is a cocktail bar and a dance floor, with a play room off to one side, a coat check and a garden that opens in summer. There is an indoor smoking area and step-free access. The music leans house and commercial.
The themed nights are what the club is known for, and three come round regularly: BearDoc for bears, a leather and fetish night, and Touch Cafe, which brings drag performers and dancers.
Flexo is a private association affiliated with ARCO, so entry needs a membership card. It can be sorted out at the door, and there is a pre-registration form online for anyone who would rather not queue.
