Cactus is a cruising bar on two levels just off Piazza Portanova, a few minutes from Piazza del Gesù Nuovo in the old centre. The first level holds the reception, the bar, a lounge corner and a music and video zone. The second is the play area: a cruising zone, relax cabins, a labyrinth and a black room.
The club opened in 2019 and draws a bear and bear-friendly crowd. It has lockers, a phone charging box and free wifi, which is more thought than most cruising bars give the practicalities.
Cactus is a private club affiliated to ARCO, so you join at the door with a valid ID. Members can keep the card in the One Pass app rather than on paper.
