Depot calls itself the first fetish cruising gay bar in Naples. It is on Via della Veterinaria, next to the botanical garden north of the historic centre, and it is a cruising club rather than a bar you drop into for a drink.
The programme runs on theme nights: naked parties, masked nights, underwear and fetish evenings. Each one is announced on the club's Facebook page and not on the website. Behind the bar there is a maze and a darkroom, and Naples guides call it the oldest darkroom in the city.
Entry needs a membership card. Depot is affiliated to the ASI sports association, so you register online beforehand and show a valid ID at the door on your first visit. The card runs for a year.
