Royal Hammam is the biggest gay sauna in Milan and the one people travel across the city for. It is in Lambrate, on Via Plezzo, near the Udine and Lambrate metro stops.
The layout is unusual for Italy: a swimming pool with a terrace off it, a hammam, a dry sauna, a jacuzzi with fountains, a darkroom, video rooms and a lounge bar. There is enough space that the wet area and the cruising area do not run into each other.
An ARCO membership card is required and is issued at the door with ID. It stays open through the night from Saturday into Sunday, which is why the Milan afterparty crowd ends up here.
