LeccoMilano sits on Via Lecco, the short street in Porta Venezia that Milan treats as its gay street. It opened in 2014 and took over the space next door a year later. The bar calls itself "un buco di bar", a hole of a bar, which undersells it: there is a kitchen, a small clothing corner called Spacciomilano at the back, and tables on the pavement that fill up before the inside does.

It works as a cocktail bar and restaurant early and turns into a bar with DJ sets and karaoke later. Art goes up on the walls in rotation. The crowd is queer and mixed, and a good part of it is regulars who treat the place as a living room.

The bar also puts on Il Borgo delle Perse, a queer daytime event held away from Via Lecco. Its own domain has stopped working, so Facebook and Instagram carry the current programme.
