Don't Tell Mama opened in NoLo in 2023 and calls itself the first drag bar in Milan. The claim rests on a distinction worth making: plenty of Milan bars book drag acts, this one is built around them.
It is a cocktail bar and piano bar at once, with a small stage where drag shows turn into cabaret and cabaret turns into a piano singalong. Karaoke follows. The room is intimate enough that there is no back row to hide in.
Dinner and show packages are sold together, and tables go quickly on show nights, so booking through WhatsApp is the normal route. The bar shuts for the summer and comes back in September.
