About this Event
VCO Pride is the Pride of the Verbano-Cusio-Ossola province, the strip of Piedmont that runs from Lake Maggiore up into the Ossola valleys. Its second edition is in Gravellona Toce; the first was held in Omegna.
The theme is "Crescere Liberə", and the parade is the last of four days rather than the whole of it. The days before it carry literature, cinema, comics, stand-up and public discussions, spread across cultural venues in the area, and the parade closes the run with music and speeches.
A network of local associations and cultural groups runs it, led by the provincial Arcigay committee together with the Agedo group for Verbania and Arona, with the town council behind it.
