Styx Club

Styx is a gay club a short walk from Bologna Centrale station, opened under the ARCO association. The front of it is a proper bar: brick walls, a long counter, tables, low light and candles, and the club uses it for aperitivi and quiet evenings as much as for anything else.

Behind the bar is a large cruising area with roomy private cabins. The layout is deliberate. The club says it was built and is run so that socialising and cruising can share the same building without either getting in the way of the other, which is what separates it from most clubs of its kind.

Entry is for members and needs an ARCO card. There is no website: the club runs its calendar through a Telegram channel.
