Wilde is Cork's only dedicated LGBTQ+ nightclub, on Oliver Plunkett Street in the city centre. It took over from the venue previously known as Vibe, and it now carries the late-night end of the city's queer scene on its own.
A night here usually starts with a stage show and moves to a DJ afterwards. The line-up runs to drag, cabaret, live singers, pole performance and karaoke, drawn mostly from Cork's own performers and the wider Irish drag circuit. The club publishes a fresh line-up each month rather than working to a fixed weekly format.
The venue states a zero tolerance policy on homophobia. It also takes private bookings for groups, birthdays and hen parties, which sit alongside the regular club nights.
