Shamone is a gay club on Leoforos Konstantinoupoleos, the avenue that runs the length of the Gazi strip. It opened in 2012 and has built its name on drag: full shows with performers rather than a DJ dropping a number between sets, plus pole dancing and comedy.
The crowd runs a little older than the Gazi average and this is a weekend club rather than an all-week one. In summer an outdoor bar and lounge open, which is where most people end up between shows.
