Axel Beach Crete is the most recent addition to the Axel Hotels portfolio, having opened in 2026 in Hersonissos on the north coast of Crete. The resort occupies a hillside site in an amphitheatrical position with views across the Cretan Sea and the mountains behind the town, close to the old town and the beach. The property is positioned as a leisure resort with a pool, spa and wellness facilities, and it extends the Axel Hotels brand into a destination that combines a strong summer tourist infrastructure with some of the most dramatic scenery in the Mediterranean.
