About this Event
The Queerfilmfestival runs for one week in thirteen cities at the same time, and the Stuttgart screenings are at the Delphi Arthaus Kino in the city centre. Vienna is on the same list, so the week is not a purely German affair.
The programme is new queer features, documentaries and short films, most of which get no German cinema release otherwise. Twelve titles were confirmed when the dates were announced and the full line up followed over the summer. Filmmakers have come to individual screenings in past years for a discussion afterwards.
If you are in Stuttgart that week, this is the whole queer cinema year compressed into seven days, in one arthouse house on the Tübinger Straße.
