Lehmann is a techno club in a basement on the Bosch-Areal in central Stuttgart. The main room is a long, low space held up by rows of steel pillars, with the pipes and ducts left bare under the ceiling. A second floor upstairs usually runs its own line-up, hosted by a different crew or label each night.
The club has run its own record label, Lehmann Musik, since 2018. The weekends belong to techno in its harder and darker forms, with resident series and guest DJs from Germany and abroad.
Photos and videos are not allowed inside, and phone cameras are taped over at the door. The club says there is no space for homophobia or racism, and it runs an awareness team that guests can approach during the night. Entry is from 18. Bring cash, cards are not accepted.
PUMP, a gay and queer techno party from Stuttgart, takes over the club regularly. On those nights the house rules on consent and the play area for men apply on top.
